A 17 year old with Parkinson’s Disease?

Rahul asked:

im 17 years old. my hands shake(tremor) since forever but now they’re getting worser, i cant even eat food properly(its nearly impossible sometimes), i drop things, i dont feel like doing anything in which my hands vibrate. my grandfather suffers from parkinsons disease(recently diagnosed). my mum, my cousin and a few other maternal relatives suffer from tremors but they are negligible and hardly noticiable unlike mine. now a days i even suspect my legs, jaw, elbow getting affected by tremors. i looked on wikipedia and surprisingly ALL, i mean ALL symptoms of parkinson disease(confusion periods, decreased sense of smell etc etc) EXACTLY can be seen with me EXCEPT slowness of movement.
ive consulted two physicians they say its heriditary and nothing can be done except giving medicines to stop tremors. they mentioned nothing about parkinsons disease(YES i told them everything).
My life is getting impossible day by day, i cant even handle test tubes in chemistry lab in school bcoz i WILL drop them bcoz of my shaky hands.
im even forgetting things like crazy for eg, ive parked my vehcle in the parking and after returning for a few seconds i think “omg where is my car!?”
i know i should consult neurologist, i will soon but tell me do you think this could be PD?

Hello asked:

I love to drink coffee because it wakes me up and helps start my day off. What I’m trying to figure out is that although I know coffee can help prevent diabetes and parkinsons disease, it can also cause some bone loss. So I’m wondering if there is a specific kind of coffee that i don’t have to go to starbucks or some coffee store that i can find in a grocery market that actually has some good vitamins in it??? Maybe a brand that is more pure and natural?? Please help.

Natural Cure for Parkinsons Disease

Parkinsons disease is a debilitating disorder of the central nervous system. Sufferers tend to deteriorate slowly as their dopaminergic neurons are attacked. As this happens, their motor skills and speech slur, slow, and eventually are gone. It is not unlikely that many sufferers and their families are on the lookout for a natural cure for Parkinsons disease.

Despite all efforts, however, there is still really no natural cure. There are only ways to ease the pain and suffering of those who have the disease. One way is through the use of acupuncture, which aims to keep muscles from stiffening or swelling. According to anecdotal evidence, acupuncture can even help sufferers sleep. However, there is still no scientific evidence to sufficiently conclude this.

Another method that is considered a natural cure is Ayurvedic medicine. A five thousand year-old practice, this Indian method involves a variety of meditations, massages, herbs, diet changes, and exercises to keep the body in shape and functioning.

Some herbal medicine experts have their own herbs of choice as a purported natural cure for Parkinsons disease. St. John’s Wort can reputedly enliven a sufferer’s mood, while some species of beans function to keep muscles working.

Because there is no definite natural cure for it, people should always be careful about the mixtures and infusions that they make, as well as the exercises they carry out. Before taking on any kind of purported cure, consult with your doctor. It is best that you keep your well-being first instead of jumping into anything that has not yet been proven conclusively.
