I have an uncle, he is about 55 and he has parkinsons disease, he has no insurance and we live in Idaho. He has to take alot of medicine. He always forgets to take his medicine, and he confuses himself on which meds to take. He is constantly having hallucinations. My dad, mom, brother, my cousin, and I are my Uncle’s only family. My parents are always working, my cousin, brother and I go to school. We were thinking of hiring a person to take care of him, but it was priced at $1000 a week, and we cannot afford that, plus we live in a tiny town and we would have to hire someone from a city 200 miles away. My uncle also will not go to a nursing home or anything like it, he is extremely attached to the house, it was where he was born and raised. There was something like a necklace/bracelet that when he needs help he pushes the button, but we are afraid he would always push it because he just wants company. My family goes down there as much as we can, but he always wants more. Any Ideas?
We cannot afford to have someone come and take care of him constantly. My uncle never remembers to pay his bills or anything. He is always just wanting someone to come and take care of him. My dad thinks he fakes having hallucinations and stuff just for attention. I don’t think so but i don’t know what to do. My uncle will call my dad and ask him to come down because he is terrified and having hallucinations, and when my dad gets there my uncle is still scared, but then he is fine after 5 min. my dad thinks he is faking it all, so when my dad comes home he just yells and gets angry because of it. My cousin tried living at my uncles house, but my uncle won’t let him have a life. He will call every half hour to see when he is coming home. Is there anything we can do?

anybody else watch the campaign ad with a very shaky Michael J Fox talking for a candidate in missouri that backs the research of finding a cure for parkinsons disease . i have never seen him shaky like that before, and there is speculation that he might be acting , i have no opinion on this, however i am a big fan of Foxs,i was just wondering what other peoples opinions might be that also have watched this ad online

Ok I am 15 and I had an MRI a few months ago cos my Mom has MS and I was really worried that I have it and I was experiencing tingling sensations . After the MRI the neurologist told me that he was 100 percent sure I didnt have MS and that everything was completely normal . Now my finger keeps twitching involuntarily every 2 minutes for about 1-3 seconds and I heard that it is a sign of early parkinsons disease . I am really scared . Would this have been seen on the MRI if i have Pakinsons disease ? Have I got anything to worry about if I got the all clear on the MRI or might they not have picked up anyhting for parkinsons disease ?
I always get really worried about stuff. Can someone pleae help me ?
