I understand that increasing serotonin is useful as its considered the “happy” chemical, but I am trying to learn more about my bipolar and why an increase in dopamine is needed. What is dopamines purpose to our bodies? I have heard it helps central nervous system as in helping with Parkinsons but not much as far as bipolar. Serious answers only please.
