Jeff asked:
…so should i go ahead and lie? And he also said to lie about the 1 time i went to see a family psychiatrist at the age of 12 when my dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. What should I do? I am supposed to go to MEPS next Wednesday/Thursday.

LIE, people are going to tell you not to and that they are going to catch you but really as long as you give them no reason to doubt you they will never find out plus they dont have the time to because so many people go through meps every day, its not a big deal and they are not going to catch you just make sure you keep the same lie throughout but i doubt they will notice if you do so dont worry about it. Its not hard at all to tell a lie and they dont give a crap anyways, your recruiter knows what he is talking about listen to him
You should not have to lie. It should not keep you out, as long as you have held a full-time job (or gotten good grades in high school or college) in the last year, and haven’t taken the drugs in over a year. Tell him you aren’t going to lie about it. He shouldn’t have said that.
its very common so you have to look at it in two different ways
the recruiter doesn’t want you to get denied entry because of depression’.
bad thing is you cant really get a top secret clearance mos.as more then likely they will find out. a secret that is so/so.
like i said…its very common.
