Alex D asked:
Recently my face has been twitching a lot. Like on my cheeks and jaw and neck it’ll will just spasm or wiggle or jerk around for a second. I feel like I don’t have control over my face right now, though I may be exaggerating a little there. I’m really freaked out and I’ve convinced myself I have parkinsons disease and I’m really depressed. I think I’m too afraid to goto the doctor cause I know it will be bad!!!!! THE only thing I can think of is that 2 days ago I had 2 fillings put on 2 teeth and they had to inject me with that numbing stuff which made my face numb for 4 hours or so. COULD THAT BE IT? PLEASEE HELP I feel like my life is over and im depressed

Its normal, chill dude
Twitching is a cause of muscle contraction, and could be a side effect from the novacaine you had. It will go away, dont worry
if you are worried just tell your parents.
They can also be a cause from stress, just relax, go watch tv or listen to some music
??????????????
go see a doctor. ]]
i know you might not want to hear this but you should go to the doctor , it could just be the filling thing maybe u and a reaction to it cause i dont think you normally twitch…ad least that way you will know wot the problem is . gd luck!
I would say that is the reason. I really doubt you have parkinsons there would be more signs besides muscle contractions in your face. Dont sweat it.
The only option here is to go and see your doctor. Strangers on yahoo can’t help you solve your health issues. You need to see a professional so you can get the care that you need. Don’t put it off, the sooner you get checked, the better.
Only doctors would know exactly what is going on.
Good luck!
calm down
take a deep breath. breathe!
okay, it could be some sort of after reaction to the numbing in your mouth.
wait about a week or two to see if the jerking stops.
if i doesnt, see a doctor. and dont freak out so much. just focus on the positive. and dont say life is over cuz its not! i dont like it when people say that!
the only way you will get through this is if you FOCUS on the positive. do not pay any attention to the negative. that is the enemy and you never want to be bothered by the enemy otherwise itll just eat at you.
so take my advice. relax, stay positive and be patient.
remember, a week or two then see a doctor if it doesn clear.
something like that happened to me.
for about two and a half weeks, the side of one of my eyes would just twitch and i got irritated that it wouldnt stop. i felt i had no control over it either i just tried to ignore it and it eventually went away.
i dont know what it is but i just didnt pay much attention to it
so yeah, try to calm down and wait. im sure youll be fine.
Dude. The same thing happens to me, and I have partial seizures. I’m not saying you have them too, but I really think you should go see a doctor…
Your face could just be twitching from lack of hydration. Try drinking more water. Also you could be developing a mild case of turrets syndrome. Research on the web to find out.
