I don’t know if you will find such a shop in Dublin (it’s too late to reach my son who used to live there) but there are shops online with specially weighted kitchen items and the like. Not just for Parkinson’s patients but for many who live with conditions which require adaptive utensils and tools:
I’m impressed with the scope of adaptive equipment here – check the sidebar as well:
The thought and consideration that has gone into the design of many of these items is impressive. I’ve listed several because I saw unique items at each.
I’m sorry not to have been able to supply a brick and mortar store but I have seen the recent closing of 3 medical supply stores in the area in which I live in the US; I suspect it might be the same in Dublin.
I think that your idea is wonderful – thank you so much for asking your question. It is worth additional research.
Best wishes in your search. I’m sure that you will be able to shop and ask questions at the sites above.
