PD Glasses – Visual Cues for Walking With Parkinsons Disease

PD Glasses are an innovative product which can increase the mobility of those afflicted with Parkinson’s Disease. Designed for walking, PD Glasses help to increase the user’s stride length by providing visual cues, all within a lightweight and portable eyeware frame. The visual cues generated by PD Glasses can assist the user in overcoming the freezing, shortened stride length and “stutter-stepping” commonly associated with Parkinson’s Disease and may help reduce the likelihood of falls. The visual cues of the PD Glasses are provided by a series of moving horizontal lines which have adjustable speed and stride controls.
