I read this in a AARP magazine in a doctors office. People who eat 1 1/2 oz of dark chocolate had better arterial blood flow and more elastic blood veins. Coffee has been shown to help protect against type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, parkinsons, and gall stones among others. And people who eat candy on the average live a year longer. WooooHoooo! In your face you health fanatics! What do you say now?

your weired and you showed me nothing ive known that dork?
COOL! i knew there had to be a reason why all humans were born chocolate lovers!
Errrr have you actually seen how small 1 1/2 oz dark chocolate, is?
anymore than that & all the benefits are outweighed by the amount of extra sugar dark chocolate has in it.
there are limits to the coffee consumption too.
too much is still bad for you.
that’s what i say now.
Yep that’s true that has been proven several times. The thing is you have to eat dark not milk chocolate, and just only about 1.5 ounces not more. I also know about the coffee thing. Here the issues is not to drink a lot of it. Just a cup or two a day. If you have to much coffee the caffeine in it can hurt your hart and keep you up all night. Like with most things moderation is the key. It is nice to know that we can eat some chocolate and have our cup of coffee and we can actually say we are on a health kick hehe! The thing is that dark chocolate does not have as much sugar and fat in it as milk chocolate does. Mind you that 1.5 ounces is not very much.
I did once read about coffee helping to protect against type 2 diabetes. Maybe I should drink more coffee than I do then, cos my blood tests all come back as “borderline”!!
Dark choccie good for arterial blood flow? Now that I could live with cos I ADORE dark chocolate and could eat it every day of the week so……………….WOOHOO!!! Unfortunately I have got to lose weight and my love of chocolate does not help there!!!
