Sick of ****** Cancer Commercials — Are You, Too?
I know ****** cancer is a terrible disease.
But again, it’s not the only type of cancer. I’m getting sick of seeing all of these advertisements for “breast cancer walks,” “breast cancer ribbons,” “breast cancer bracelets,” etc. How about some lung cancer walks? How about brain cancer (which, in some cases, is more deadly) pens? How about a Parkinsons disease car sticker?
And now, there’s a cervical cancer commercial with a perfume bottle. I mean, seriously? It would be nice if there was support for other types of cancer readily advertised.
This is coming from a teenage girl who recently had her dad die of melanoma. I am neither sexist nor uninformed about the issue.

I’m glad they’re finally going information about other cancers. My mom’s best friend passed away last year from cervical cancer & my aunt died in December from stomach cancer.
i don’t really get annoyed with the ****** cancer stuff but i **** the stupid cervical cancer perfume one
The main reason that ****** cancer gets the publicity it does is that there is such a huge number of survivors who are willing to put the necessary work in to raise this much awareness and publicity.
yea, those commercials are just so horrible, i’d rather you actually have ****** cancer than to watch another commercial
The answer is that there are far more people involved in ****** cancer awareness and prevention than all the others. There are ads for some of the others but ****** cancer really has women’s attention.
So, if there’s not any lung cancer walks or parkinson bracelets or melanoma ads it’s because the survivors and the victims families havn’t made that happen. It’s up to you.
I’m not tired of them. Anything to spread awareness. I know a lot of attention is paid to ****** Cancer, and I know we need to spread word about other types. I see some commercials about other cancers, and diseases.

but the one ****** cancer commercial with jack black is freakin funny! i know i probably shouldn’t b answering this question cuz im a guy and its about well you know but……….. well im bored
