hello, today my husband had our son (4 months) on his lap feeding him a bottle, when he told me something was wrong with him. i came in the room and saw that he was shaking a little almost like parkinsons.. he was extremely tired and my husband immediately pulled the bottle out of his mouth and picked him up and he instantly fell asleep. does this sound like some type of seizure? luckily he has a checkup tomorrow and i am going to mention it. let me know if someone has experienced this. it is just so weird, nothing like this has happened before.. thanks everyone!

scared me to death everytime my daughter did this…hint: check his diaper afterwards…mine was peeing, and you know sometimes that little shiver you get when you go? its more pronounced in babies.
one reason it happens during sleepy times….the body when going to sleep drops its core temperature, so warm body fluid, or even a warm bottle can cause this sensation.
Shaking like that and then immediately falling asleep does sound like a seizure. My daughter has seizures and she trembles (she doesn’t flail around like tv shows make you think) then is extremely nauseated and TIRED. Did your son look pale? clammy? Did he have a fever?
DEFINITELY mention it to his doctor. Good Luck.
my son did that a few times also when he was drinking from a bottle and rightttt about to fall asleep, it was very scary. dont worry, i did a lot of research and its most likely due to an immature nervous system. my son did this for about a couple of weeks and it hasnt happened anymore. i am sure your son will grow out of it too.
I was going to say excitement but after reading your question it sounds like something more serious. I would take him to be checked right away as it sounds like he’s had a seizure or something.
